In this regard, the Fondazione can carry out the following activities:

The Foundation’s funds can be significantly increased with donations, bequests, legacies and grants. The Foundation carries out its activity aimed at achieving the aforementioned purpose with contributions and subscriptions specifically destined for the Foundation, coming from juridical persons, of public or private, Italian and foreign law, or from Italian or foreign natural persons as well as with proceeds from activities and events organized by the Foundation and with anything else destined for it by the "International Association of Friends of the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra", a non-profit association that explicitly includes the Foundation's support among its institutional aims. Every year the Foundation promotes the “International Festival of Sacred Music and Art”, with the Wiener Philharmoniker as orchestra in residence in the splendid Roman papal basilicas. In fact, the series of events of the Festival in the Papal Basilicas of Rome aims to promote the conservation and restoration of cultural assets that are contained in the same Basilicas.

The Foundation also promotes various concerts of sacred music, hands over the “Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra Award” and organizes a series of other cultural events including the participation of its supporters in events related to the inauguration of the restoration they had financed. The purpose of all these activities is to be able to allocate their financial resources to the protection, conservation, promotion and enhancement of the sacred cultural assets which, due to their historical value, make Italy with the capital Rome the most admired and visited country in the world. This commitment is achieved especially through economic support for important works of restoration of treasures and sacred art and various cultural assets of great importance for the dissemination of sacred music, but also in supporting various other projects.
