On January 24, 2013 at 6.30 pm, Dr. Claudia Autieri, President of the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra, took part in the inaugural concert of the Wörle-Priori Organ, restored by Michel Formentelli. The organ owned by the Fondo Edifici di Culto - Ministry of the Interior, has been restored thanks to a contribution from the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra.
The instrument we are talking about probably dates back to the second half of the 18th century and is the work of an exponent of the most famous dynasty of Roman organ builders, the Priori, who worked from the end of the 18th century until the end of the 19th century. It was probably the first of them, coming out of the workshop of the famous Conrad Woerle, active in Rome, to manufacture the organ of Caravita.
Therefore, an instrument, of transition between the baroque and neoclassical or pre-romantic periods and of great interest.
