Four days of sacred music in Rome's most evocative Papal Basilicas, over two thousand spectators and about four hundred musicians. The 20th edition of the International Festival of Sacred Music and Art, after last year's forced hiatus, returned to animate the capital with six concerts with free admission, from 13 to 16 November, which saw a significant participation of Roman citizens and tourists.

Organised by the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra, under the patronage of patron Ralph Dommermuth, President of the 20th International Festival of Sacred Music and Art, and with General President and founder Dr. Hans-Albert Courtial, the Festival confirmed its internationality and ecumenical spirit, hosting orchestral ensembles, chorales, soloists and conductors from Italy, Europe and the Middle East. An embrace and dialogue between different religious beliefs, a message of peace and brotherhood through art and music. Sacred music of all times, from Gregorian chant to modern compositions, with some rarities such as the performance of Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine, which filled the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
